InterDynamics supplies drills, saw blades, and other tools with the appropriate connections for use with machines from various well-known brands. We offer the following connection types:
This is the standard connection for angle grinders. A key characteristic of an angle grinder is its high rotational speed. These machines (also known as grinding tools) are suitable for accessories such as tile drills.
Primarily used for core drilling and drywall applications.
Designed for quick and easy drill changes. The hexagonal connection ensures a secure grip in the machine, preventing slipping during use.
Diamond drills with a ½″ connection feature an integrated water supply through the drill for cooling. These drills can be used both handheld and with a drill stand. For larger diameters, the use of a drill stand is recommended.
Diamond drills with an M30 or 5/4″ UNC connection are typically used for larger diameters in combination with a drill stand. These connections allow for either water supply or internal dust extraction through the drill. However, both functions cannot be used simultaneously.
An adapter is used when the connection of the machine differs from that of the drill bit you want to use. Various adapters have been developed to enable switching between different connection types. For example, adapters are available for:
• SDS+ chucks
• 13 mm chucks
• 5/8″ chucks
• 5/4″ UNC
• R1/2″
• M18 connections
Not all connections can be adapted. This is to ensure the safety of the user.
